This position will be supporting the processes, associated risks, and mitigating controls for the Commercial Lending Data Product RAU within the Commercial Banking and Lending Domain.   The position will be collaborating with 4 product owners across 5 data assets to ensure our processes and controls align to standards and are complete. The position will also partner closely with Business Control partners and Product Owners to ensure our risks are adequately mitigated, find commonalities, and ways of identifying control efficiencies across data assets. You will also be responsible for preparing the RAU owner for annual review and challenge board assessments and leading artefact preparation for internal audits.

In this role you will...

  • Design and conduct highly complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps
  • Maintain operational efficiency by evaluating data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
  • Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy
  • Partner with groups companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution
  • Accountable for maintaining the inventory of processes and controls within the commercial lending data product team.
  • Lead the facilitation of RCSA artefact creation and maintenance as well as preparation of RCSA annual reviews.
  • Work closely with the team in addressing various audits involving COSO and IA
  • Accountable for operation of the production cycle: monitoring and reporting production SLA’s and report immediately, keeping track of and driving resolution to production issues, and collaborating with Technology and POD Leads to ensure data is fit for purpose and timely delivery.
  • Report on data points for data and monthly processing and ensuring SLA’s are met; perform root cause and remediation.
  • Works with Technology to resolve process breakdowns and process improvements. Can provide metrics on root cause trends on data loads issues.
  • Tracks, ages, and reports on consumer ticketing. Established SLA's. Ensures tickets are addressed per SLA's and escalated when no traction is happening. OLA/SIA documents are revisited annually and ensure times are accurate.
  • Proven leadership skills to drive alignment across stakeholder groups to develop and deliver repeatable end to end risk management solutions and controls aligned with business/customer processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated capability to confidently raise issues, escalate early, and engage in constructive credible challenge independently
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with virtual and/or geographically dispersed teams
  • Experience in analyzing and reporting and monitor operational release management information
  • Knowledge of Commercial Banking lines of business, i.e. commercial lending
  • Experience in implementing control process and challenging Risk and Control Self-Assessment data
  • Demonstrated leadership ability that embodies the Wells Fargo Vision and Values and leadership competencies. 
  • Understanding of best-practice risk management techniques across financial services industry.
  • Experience managing the processes for identifying and assessing operational risks faced by organizations and evaluating and developing controls to address those risks
