Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
• Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
• Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
• Drive solutions to reduce recovery
• Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
• Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
• Design complex system upgrades
• Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
• Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
• Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 6+ years of application development, implementation and Support experience (JAVA / .Net )
• 3+ Years of experience with IT Service Operations
• 3+ years of development experience on Web and Webservices
• 2 + years of experience with ElasticSearch development, integration or support
• 3+ years of experience with scripting (i.e. JavaScript, Groovy, Python, Bash, etc.) and working from the command line.
• 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Agile, Kanban, or Lean methodology
• Strong in Oracle and SQL Database queries, procedures, functions, stored procedures, performance tuning, PL/SQL.
• Secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to help remediate complex technical support issues In-depth technical solution knowledge, including installation, configuration, performance tuning
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong leadership skills, ability to lead and drive platform transformation initiatives in the team by taking up more ownership and accountability.
• Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional area

• Experience with tools like splunk, app dynamics, grafana as part of observability with SRE skillset.
• Application support experience with java or .net background
• ITIL process
• Flexible to support in shifts and weekends.
• Understand concepts of Test-Driven development and should be able to automate tasks that are part of SDLC and App Monitoring Support
• Experience using standard logging and monitoring tools like AppD, Splunk
• Experience in security consulting on complex issues related to data access, integrity, confidentiality and business continuity
• Technical Lead experience working with development teams on defect remediation
• ITIL Certification
• Banking Domain experience
• This development role will be involved in taking up transformation initiatives for platform support across brokerage functions – Account Management, SRWF, Client & Advisory Tools and Capabilities. Transformation is one of the key drivers in Platform Team. If not hired, the transformation developments will be impacted.
