About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Technology Business Services Consultant
In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in managing and supporting the delivery of technology products and services of high profile business unit clients and contribute to large scale solutions planning related to Technology Business Services
- Ensure service quality and cost effectiveness of solutions
- Review customer information with the technology team and implement technical initiatives for highly complex projects impacting multiple lines of business or across the enterprise
- Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
- Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of managing multiple medium technology development efforts that influence and lead broader work team and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with the technology team and more experienced management within Technology Business Services functional area to resolve Information Technology issues and provide customers with best possible solutions
- Provide guidance on leveraging new technology
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 10+ years of business services experience preferably within Cybersecurity/Risk management/Technology controls or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of technology experience leading large & complex programs preferably in Cyber Security
- 5+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience
- Strong leadership abilities to drive organization goals and priorities.
- Ability to plan well, execute messages based on the target audiences, high quality assurance by doing edits, to meet required standards & guidelines.
- Maintain familiarity with bank security procedures and policies especially with data handling & protection.
- Ability to communicate confidently and professionally
- Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
- Excellent presentation & public speaking skills and able to coordinate meetings, leadership sessions, prepare briefing materials and handle confidential information
- Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
- Strong time management skills including the ability to handle multiple deliverables concurrently
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including those related to conflict resolution
- Ability to influence across all organizational levels
- Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity topics and organizations
- Financial sector cybersecurity experience or other regulated industry (e.g. utilities, health care, government)
Job Expectations:
- Support Cybersecurity executive routines by looking for ways to streamline activities and improve meeting/collaborations effectiveness.
- Leverage industry frameworks and benchmarks to analyze, design and execute operating model.
- Escalate material matters to management with an appropriate sense of urgency.
- Lead and support special ad hoc projects as per changing environment & as directed by executives.
- Conduct research, analyzing data and provide recommendations to drive growth and efficiency.
- Coordinate decision-making processes and ensure effective communication throughout the organization.
- Partner with key stakeholders as a trusted advisor to the organization in order to develop organizational plans/operating models/efficiency targets and plans, gaining agreement across the leadership team, and communicating outcomes to various stakeholders
- Support development of multiyear plans and business cases in alignment with the overall strategy and product framework.
