About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer as part of the Chief Operating Office Non-Ops Control Team specifically aligned to Chief Administrative Office. This is a fast-paced matrixed environment with exposure to enterprise programs and partnership with peers in all BGs/EFs with an opportunity to engage with Evidence Based Control Evaluation (EBCE), IRM partners including Risk Type Teams, Business Aligned Compliance Officer and IT&V and Audit.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact
Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area
Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies
Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls
Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
Lead Control Management project or virtual teams
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with Issues Management, design of controls and managing issues and corrective actions to include experience with Veritas
Experience with Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), specifically with identifying and documenting controls following enterprise standards
Experience working in or with Evidence Based Control Evaluation, IT&V, Risk Type Teams, and Audit
Ability to identify and evaluate trends, isolate root cause, and provide swift/thorough resolution
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members, including senior stakeholders
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
Job Expectations:
Onsite presence required 3 days a week at one of the posted locations
