The Role

The engineering here is a blend of product, systems, and code with taste, judgment, and execution in equal measure. It’s knowing what good short-form content looks like, understanding great UX, and building the reliable systems that make the system work now and scale later. 

This starts as a 2-month remote contract with the potential to convert into a long-term full-time role as the company’s lead engineer if you're outstanding. You'll report directly to the founder as the only dedicated technical hire, working in lockstep with him on product and vision and closely with the team building our technical ecosystem. You’ll start hands-on and solo, and as the product and revenue grow you’ll be first in line to build and lead the engineering team beneath you.

What you'll own

Build and own the product end to end: full-stack, across the frontend (Vite / TypeScript) and the backend (TypeScript), deployed on Vercel with Supabase (Postgres). You own the whole path from UI to data.

Account infrastructure: generation, assignment, and reliability at scale. Running 100+ real accounts as a fleet that posts every day without breaking.

Content generation: build a truly best-in-class AI UGC engine, this is the system that decides and produces what actually performs in-feed.

Systems for the account-creation team: the internal flows and tooling that let the humans behind the fleet operate at volume.

Agentic integrations: our MCP server and the architecture that lets us plug into modern agentic stacks.

Architecture and technical judgment: make the calls on structure, tooling, and trade-offs. Enabling us to be fast enough to keep shipping and scalable to grow as our users do.

The content and product roadmap: in lockstep with the founder. Talk to users, understand our capabilities, and have strong input on product direction.

AI and automation: embed AI and automation into both the product and how we build it.

The future team: start as the solo builder, then hire, set the standards for, and lead the engineers who come after you.

Requirements

Strong full-stack product engineer. You build end to end, from the interface a user touches to the systems that run behind it. The more you lean toward 10x (building technical moats, moving faster than anyone expects), the better.

Deep knowledge of our stack. TypeScript across the board, a modern frontend build (Vite / React), backend services in TypeScript, deployed on Vercel with Supabase / Postgres. You’ve run this kind of stack in production, not just a side project.

Native to short-form content and can tell instantly what works and why. This can’t be taught; if you can’t do it, this isn’t your seat regardless of engineering strength.

Product and user instinct, thinking in journeys and what a user should feel and do — not in components or the roundness of a button.
