Senior BI Engineer

Webselenese is looking for a Senior BI Engineer to create and manage end-to-end BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge and to help us make better decisions.

We are looking for an all-around player that can communicate with both R&D and business stakeholders and own the entire BI process. In this position you will mostly develop and maintain the data pipe-line and ETL’s as part of various data solutions for the company.

If you are a SQL expert who’s also highly skilled in data analysis, complex data processes, you have 2+ years experience in BI engineering, preferably from a media company, you’re an excellent communicator with the ability to deliver end-to-end solutions that make an impact… your place is with us!

Your Role:

• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Support and optimize our data analytics platforms, continually enhancing system performance.
• Collaborate effectively across teams to integrate and streamline systems.
• Take charge of the full data lifecycle—from infrastructure setup to detailed analysis and reporting, culminating in automated solutions that drive business growth.

• Expert-level SQL skills for both complex queries and data management tasks.
• Proficiency in Python or another scripting language.
• A proven track record as a data expert on the engineering front, especially in a media context.
• A deep understanding of database management systems and online analytical processing.
• A degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or another relevant quantitative field.
• Strong bilingual communication capabilities in Hebrew and English.
