About this internship

You'll be part of the Developer Growth team, where you join our dynamic social media writer's room and play a pivotal role in amplifying the social media presence of our Weaviate Creators. Harness the power of state-of-the-art machine learning models to craft engaging content and become one of our next-generation AI content creators, if you're up for it.

What you'll be working on

• Content Creation: Collaborate with our DevGrowth team to create visually captivating technical content across diverse platforms. Armed with the necessary tools, you'll unleash your creativity while receiving mentorship from a senior member to refine your technical skills and grow your knowledge.
• Advanced Model Utilization: Learn how to use and optimize machine learning tools, like GPT4 or Midjourney, to create engaging content more easily.
• Engagement Collaboration: Work closely with our engineering and developer advocacy teams to produce compelling written and visual content spanning blogs, articles, technical docs, Twitter threads, LinkedIn posts, and YouTube videos.
• AI Demo Development: Leverage AI and the team’s expertise to create technical demos showcasing Weaviate's potential.
• Persona Development: Optionally, develop your own persona as a content creator on social media platforms like Twitter, Linked In, YouTube, and TikTok.
• Community Engagement: Join our team at AI meetups to immerse yourself in the vibrant AI community. Don't worry, we'll be right there with you every step of the way.

What we are looking for

• You are enrolled in a university.
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI, coupled with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field.
• Technical understanding of the AI space and Weaviate.
• A keen eye for visualization, with a passion for creating visually appealing content to complement the written material.
• Proficiency in English, capable of producing clear and concise content that resonates with our audience.
• Some experience in creating visuals for technical concepts with common design tools, such as Figma, Miro, or Adobe Illustrator is a nice to have.
• Familiar and active on social media platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Threads, and Reddit.
• You are aligned with our company values.
