ABOUT THIS POSITION
šAtlanta, GAWe are seeking a Charge Capture Rules Analyst to join Waystar. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the Charge Integrity SaaS solutionās specialized and proprietary Big Data charge capture functionality, working collaboratively with internal resources to ensure the Charge Integrity SaaS Solution is providing excellent value to each client.āÆ This requires a comprehensive understanding of the revenue cycle and charging practices. Youāll apply your problem solving abilities and revenue cycle knowledge to dissect complex problems and determine the best solutions, ultimately improvingāÆefficiency and end product results. An ideal candidate for this position can approach problem-solving challenges creatively and independently, has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative and team-based environment.āÆ
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Performing updates and ongoing maintenance to data elements that leverage applied mathematics to uncover missed charges and coding variancesĀ
Utilize SQL to update and maintain evidence-based charge integrity rulesĀ
Recommends and assists in implementing solutions to complex issuesĀ
Participates actively in applicable meetings, discussions and other such undertakings relevant to Charge Integrity SaaS Solution performanceĀ
Effectively executes project work plans while retaining the ability to revise plans as dictated by evolving needs and/or requirementsĀ
Remains active within the healthcare industry as it pertains to matters of charging practices so as to maintain an ongoing awareness of best practices, evolving trends and industry standardsĀ
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Bachelor degree or higherĀ
Capable of analyzing large quantities of data, identifying patterns, and summarizing by priorityĀ
Demonstrates effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills, exercises sound judgment, and commitment to teamworkĀ
Highly self-motivated, desire to succeed, and strong attention to detailĀ
Knowledge of charge capture terminology and charge capture best practicesĀ
Ability to work both independently and as part of a teamĀ
Able to multi-task and set prioritiesĀ
Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skillsĀ
MS Office skills, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, including the ability to capture and manipulate data at a high level in MS Excel spreadsheetsĀ
Understanding of SQL and database structuresĀ
Background in revenue integrity, revenue cycle, or healthcare codingĀ
