2025 Summer Intern, Waymo Commercialization - TaaS iOS and Android

Software Engineering builds the brains of Waymo's fully autonomous driving technology. Our software allows the Waymo Driver to perceive the world around it, make the right decision for every situation, and deliver people safely to their destinations. We think deeply and solve complex technical challenges in areas like robotics, perception, decision-making and deep learning, while collaborating with hardware and systems engineers. In this internship, you'll work on projects involved with mobile app work, working closely with the Growth team on a user-facing feature.

At a minimum we’d like you to have:

• Progressing towards BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field
• iOS: iOS SDK using Swift and SwiftUI
• Android: Android SDK using Java or Kotlin

It’s preferred if you have:

• Interested in user facing products
• Interested in UX design, working with product managers and designers
• Experience with Kotlin or C++
