Software Engineering builds the brains of Waymo's fully autonomous driving technology. Our software allows the Waymo Driver to perceive the world around it, make the right decision for every situation, and deliver people safely to their destinations. We think deeply and solve complex technical challenges in areas like robotics, perception, decision-making and deep learning, while collaborating with hardware and systems engineers. This internship will be based on-site at our headquarters in Mountain View, CA.
You will:
- Develop a no-code/low-code full-stack web application to teach LLMs through a user-friendly interface.
- Identify feature gaps and repetitive actions to enhance user experience in teaching and evaluating LLMs.
- Build tools and infrastructure to improve the safety and capabilities of the Waymo Driver using advanced technologies.
You have:
- Progressing towards BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience building full-stack web applications.
- Experience with automation using LLMs.
We prefer:
- Prior experience building and deploying a full-stack web application.
- Experience creating user-friendly UIs for complex features.
- Write complex SQL queries.
- Experience solving business-critical problems with LLMs.
