Product Manager, Network and Security

Wayfair’s internal employee technology teams are responsible for planning, executing and handing off large, complex, cross-functional technology dedicated to serve our employees across our operations. These teams own everything from employee onboarding and continued productivity support, productivity tools, asset management and in-office experiences. The goal of this team is to solve dynamic technology needs for Wayfairians everywhere by providing them a frictionless technology support experience.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the strategy, development, and execution of networking, security, cloud, and observability solutions. This role will focus on Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), application security, cloud networking, SD-WAN, cost optimization (FinOps), network observability, and CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service) solutions. The ideal candidate has experience with Genesys Cloud, Conversational AI, and FinOps, along with expertise in network security, automation, and cost-efficient infrastructure management. These technologies are used to support mission critical systems, hence requiring a person who can balance operational efficiency along with continuous improvement goals. This person will work with cross-functional teams and leaders, including operations, science teams, engineers, analysts, on capabilities needed for efficient operations while enabling technologies for reimagining our customer and supplier experiences.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the product strategy & roadmap
• Define and drive the networking, security, FinOps, and observability product roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to influence product decisions.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through network optimization, automation, and cloud cost management strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, cloud, and AI teams to integrate Conversational AI with Genesys Cloud and CCaaS.
• Network Security & ZTNA
• Develop and enhance Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions for secure application access.
• Define application security policies to ensure compliance with cloud security best practices.
• Implement SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) and security frameworks for multi-cloud environments.
• Work with security teams to mitigate threats, vulnerabilities, and attack surfaces.
• Network Observability & Performance Optimization
• Implement network observability tools for real-time monitoring, analytics, and incident response.
• Drive adoption of AI-driven insights and automation to enhance network performance, uptime, and security.
• Develop strategies to reduce network latency, improve resilience, and ensure SLAs.
• Enhance monitoring with Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, and Prometheus.
• FinOps & Cost Optimization
• Develop and execute FinOps strategies to reduce cloud and networking costs.
• Optimize cloud networking expenses, interconnectivity, and SD-WAN deployments.
• Work with finance, engineering, and operations teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Lead automation efforts to reduce operational overhead and improve cost efficiency.
• Conversational AI & CCaaS (Genesys Cloud)
• Collaborate with AI teams to integrate Conversational AI with Genesys Cloud and CCaaS solutions.
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance of AI-driven customer engagement platforms.
• Work with contact center teams to optimize networking and infrastructure for CCaaS.
• Improve observability and security in real-time AI-driven communication workflows.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution
• Work with engineering, security, cloud, finance, and AI teams to execute product initiatives.
• Partner with marketing and sales to define go-to-market (GTM) strategies for networking and security products.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives, security policies, and operational efficiency.
• Present updates to executives and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.

We Are a Match Because You Have:

• 6+ years of product management experience in networking, security, cloud, or FinOps.
• Experience with Genesys Cloud, Conversational AI, and CCaaS solutions.
• Strong expertise in ZTNA, application security, network observability, and cost optimization.
• Hands-on experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
• Familiarity with FinOps, cost-saving strategies, and cloud financial governance.
• Knowledge of network automation, SD-WAN, SASE, VPNs, and security frameworks.
• Experience working with network monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, Prometheus, etc.).
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration, roadmap execution, and product innovation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
• Experience in network security, AI-driven observability, and incident response.
• Knowledge of ZTNA vendors (Zscaler, Palo Alto, Cloudflare, etc.).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking and service mesh architectures.
• Experience in B2B SaaS, FinOps strategies, and AI-driven networking solutions
