Sr. Fullstack Engineer [Contract]

We are an impact based company, where results are more important than titles. Please see here. In this role, you will work on our core applications and services at Way2B1. Our backend is Node.JS and our Frontend is React.Js. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who’s comfortable with full-stack work - but we’re open to candidates who have a heavy lean in either front backend or frontend direction. You’ll take on the design, architecture, implementation, and rollout of new features, upgrade existing features, and work on our 2.0 revamp as we significantly upgrade our existing architecture over the next year.

Our ideal candidate has

● 5+ years of engineering experience

● 3+ years experience working with Node and/or React

● Experience with PostgreSQL or similar database systems.

● Experience with service-oriented architecture.

● Experience with frontend design systems like Storybook.

● Experience collaborating with backend teams

● Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Bonus points for

● Prior SaaS experience.

● Prior experience building workflow management or CRM products

What you'll be doing

● Develop the next generation of Way2b1’s flagship application as we move to a service oriented architecture, upgrading both frontend and backend.

● Design, develop, and release features and systems for our customers.

● Mentor less experienced engineers on your team.

● Partner with product and design teams on features and functionality.

● Fix bugs and improve features in the app.

Hourly Rate: 45-55USD per hour
