We are looking to add a Reporting Analyst to our team in our Seattle office. As a Reporting Analyst, your key focus is on preparing accurate and timely reports for institutional clients by compiling disparate data sources into a cohesive structure. This role requires a high level of precision and thoroughness. Successful candidates will exhibit a willingness to learn new skills and collaborate with team members to achieve client service standards. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate the quarterly reporting cycle, including collecting, requesting, and tracking data from vendor partners and internal stakeholders. 
  • Prepare book-wide investment performance calculations and ensure data is accurate, complete, and reconciled. 
  • Develop and distribute quarterly participant education materials and other client-facing reporting. 
  • Prepare, finalize, and distribute quarterly client reviews, ensuring materials are accurate and delivered on schedule. 
  • Gather updated performance and balance information and prepare ad-hoc analyses to support client meetings, including fee reviews, plan design analyses, and participant reviews. 
  • Document client meeting notes, action items, and deliverables and coordinate follow-throughs to ensure timely completion. 
  • Complete post-meeting client deliverables and ongoing reporting needs while maintaining accurate and organized records. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve, streamline, and automate recurring reporting processes and reconcile records as needed. 
  • Support long-term, non-cyclical projects and initiatives that improve reporting, client service, and operational efficiency. 
  • Research relevant industry trends, regulatory and legislative developments, and other applicable topics to inform client service and prepare for upcoming quarterly reporting cycles. 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree, required. 
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an analytical capacity. Experience in an RIA/Broker Dealer is preferred. 
  • Familiarity with Excel, Morningstar Direct, Adobe Acrobat, PowerApps & Dataverse, preferred. 
  • Experience with a portfolio management system. Tamarac or Orion is strongly preferred.  
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong mathematical/quantitative skills. 
  • A high level of personal initiative and willingness to assist other team members. 

 

Travel:  

  • Minimal travel is required.  

 

Physical Requirements:  

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.  
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.  
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
