- The Project and Program Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing complex technology programs and projects for our financial services solution. They will be accountable for project deliverables that focus on our payments and payroll platforms. They will deliver impact by being a strategic thinker with extensive experience managing large-scale programs, project lifecycles, and cross-functional teams, while ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Program & Project Management:
- Lead the end-to-end management of technology programs, specifically focused on FinTech, payments, and payroll platforms.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, risk management, and resource allocation.
- Coordination of cross-functional teams (engineering, product, design, operations) to ensure successful delivery of programs and projects.
- Establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on program status to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Strategic Planning:
- Collaborating with senior leadership to define program objectives, align on priorities, and ensure that programs support business goals and deliver value.
- Providing strategic input on platform enhancements, integrations, and new feature rollouts in alignment with industry trends and client needs.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of the Financial Services and FinTech landscape, including emerging technologies, regulations, and market dynamics.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Ensuring effective communication and coordination between technical teams and business leaders.
- Presenting project updates, roadmaps, and strategic recommendations to senior management and key partners.
Risk Management:
- Identifying potential risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies across programs and projects.
- Developing mitigation strategies to address issues proactively.
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, compliance, and security standards in all program activities, especially related to payments and payroll systems.
Budget & Resource Management:
- Managing program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and controlling costs while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
- Overseeing resource allocation and planning to ensure program success.
Technology & Innovation:
- Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting the payments and payroll landscape.
- Driving innovation by identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes, and technologies that will enhance platform performance and customer experience.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in technology program and project management, with a focus on Financial Services, FinTech, payments, and payroll platforms.
- Proven track record of managing complex programs and large-scale technology projects from initiation to completion.
- Extensive experience working within the FinTech industry, specifically in payments, payroll, and related financial services.
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with C-level executives and other stakeholders.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of project and program management methodologies and tools.
