Job Title: Facilities Management Lead, Sr. Director (East Coast)
A little bit about our team:
You will be a leader on our Facilities Management team under the Global Workplace Experience group and report to the VP, Global Facilities Lead. Our Global Workplace Experience team is designed to imagine, create, and maintain innovative and safe workplaces to accommodate the needs of our dynamic business and global footprint.
Your role:
You will lead the East Coast Facilities Management team (managers, maintenance team, mailroom, and building/office services contractors) to support building operations, workplace strategy, hospitality, and events. You will have the opportunity to propose, develop, and implement an ever-evolving set of facilities and workplace standards.
Here you’ll get to:
Lead Facilities Management Operations – Provide developmental leadership while overseeing facilities management, building operations, maintenance, mailroom
Oversee People Management - Manage, train and mentor approximately 15 employees include senior managers, coordinators and assistants
Partner on Workplace Strategy – Be a strategic partner to the larger Global Workplace Experience team
Deliver Special Events – Work with the Hospitality and Events Lead, executives, corporate communication teams, production teams, etc. to deliver events and performances throughout Warner Music Group’s event space on the East Coast
Facilities Leadership Responsibilities
Responsible for leading, directing and managing the East Coast Facilities team, which monitors the day-to-day facilities functions and strategies on implementing standardized policies and safety procedures, in support of WMG sites in New York, Nashville, Miami, and Toronto
Oversee a highly driven group of facilities staff, maintenance staff, engineers, office services, and technicians; Ensure a proactive approach and attention to detail at all levels of building operations
In partnership with WPX leadership, develop and implement new Workplace Technologies in order to promote better organization, transparency, automation, and digitization of workflows and data collection (IWMS, Lease Administration, AI tools, Monday.com, etc.)
Collaborate with senior leadership in all regions to develop and ensure all standards are created and adhered to across the WMG portfolio
Develop and lead a service-oriented, client first team environment, grounded in open communication, transparency, integrity, and trust.
Establish building readiness processes and procedures, ensuring all workspaces, conference rooms, pantries, event spaces, studios, and writers rooms are occupant ready
Establish and manage relationships with vendors and contractors
Oversee operations of building systems equipment; ensure routine preventative maintenance
Manage the Facilities team through knowledge and understanding of company mission, company and departmental goals, and larger portfolio strategy
Support VP and overall process improvement through KPI creation, tracking, and reporting
Manage and deliver on all hospitality amenities in support of programming designed by the Hospitality Team in a cost-effective manner
Workplace Strategy Responsibilities
Manage facilities specific procedures and processes associated with broader Global Workplace Experience functions, including but not limited to scheduling, planning, conceptual design, and project delivery support throughout each facility in your area of responsibility
Collaborate on financial planning and management; serve as on site POC in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of spend; help to develop/administer capital and operating expense budgets for assigned facilities
Analyze facilities data and spend to develop and propose recommendations to senior leadership; develop solutions to improve process, reduce costs, enhance employee productivity, and maximize best-in-class service
Develop and deliver clear and concise presentations, lead stakeholder meetings, manage multidisciplinary teams, etc
Support Real Estate Strategy team on our portfolio optimization strategy (renegotiation, relocations, and closures) and management of day to day of portfolio events (i.e. terminations, expirations, and renewals)
Provide support on significant real estate projects within the region, often as the internal project manager; Maintain project budget, timeline, and quality standards for projects under a set capex threshold
Understand individual division business drivers and needs and apply that knowledge to service delivery; Effectively interact with global business leaders to meet or improve company real estate/facilities objectives and goals
Establish and leverage relationships with external partners i.e. landlords, developers, brokers, consultants, and legal teams
Events Management Support
Work closely with the Hospitality and Events Lead, senior leadership,, and Corp Communications team on managing the approved special events calendar, supporting all corporate and employee events & hospitality/branding programs.
Onsite point of contact to support event requests and logistics, ensuring all necessary coordination is in place
Partner with Hospitality and Events Lead on vendor/sponsor selection, venue/site readiness, and oversight of the team pre/during/post event
About you:
15+ years of experience in corporate facilities management
Undergraduate degree preferred, preferably in Real Estate, Engineering, Project Management, or similar background
Proven track record of managing, mentoring and developing team members and emerging leaders within a distributed workforce
Experience in managing complex, multidisciplinary facilities projects / teams
Experience in proactively developing and implementing process improvement and cost savings initiatives
Excellent client service, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; this role will be expected to develop presentations using data analytics to communicate recommendations to key stakeholders
Strong familiarity with building system operations (HVAC, lighting, elevators, etc.)
Strong contract negotiation skills
Experience in managing and challenging service providers and vendors to provide innovative solutions
Detail-oriented and well-organized with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure, while maintaining sound judgment, discretion, and balance of competing interests
Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule as needed
We’d love it if you also had:
Experience in the entertainment industry
Experience executing return-to-office and hybrid workplace initiatives
Industry accreditations, professional registration or other advanced training is highly preferred

Salary Range
$160,000 to $180,000 AnnuallySalary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
