Your New Role:
WBD Enterprise Application Development Team is seeking a Senior Application Developer who will be responsible for providing technical expertise for supporting and enhancing the Application development suite of our portfolio application built on OutSystems, Power Apps, .Net Framework, and JAVA. We are specifically looking for a candidate with solid technical skills and experience in building custom applications, SAAS, PAAS platforms such as Salesforce, OutSystems, and experience in developing the microservices would be ideal for this position.
Your Role Accountabilities:
The candidate's primary job functions include but are not limited to the day-to-day configuration/development of applications. The candidate must possess strong communication and analytical skills to effectively work with peers within the Enterprise Technology Group, various external partners/vendors, and business users to determine requirements and translate them into technical solutions. The candidate must have the ability to independently complete individual tasks in a dynamic environment to achieve departmental and company goals such as: Develop and maintain APIs and connectors to integrate with various data sources and applications, Prepare data flow diagramming and/or process modeling, lead the design and development of high-quality software applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
Qualifications & Experiences:
5 to 7 yrs. of experience in application development.
OutSystems Mastery: You should be fluent in the language of OutSystems. Know the ins and outs of the platform.
Expertise in C#, ASP.NET, and related technologies.
Experience in API development, including best practices, testing methods and deployment strategies.
Strong understanding of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus
Proven track record of delivering large-scale, enterprise-level applications.
Proficient in developing custom APIs to handle bulk volumes, pagination etc.
Strong knowledge of integration protocols and technologies (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
Front-end Sorcery: HTML, CSS, JavaScript—you should be adept in the mystical arts of front-end development.
Back-end Alchemy: PHP, .NET, Java, or whatever runes power your server-side sorcery.
Certifications in Application Development, Cloud Services would be a plus.
Experience in building application with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Atlanta based candidates will be a priority to consider as relocation assistance is not offered for this role. Also, must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
