What you'll do...

Position: Software Engineer III

Job Location: 640 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Analyze, design, and develop software solutions for ecommerce systems. Design and implement REST API web services using Java. Build engineering tools using Kafka to streamline workflows for data integration and testing. Review code and collaborate on design patterns. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review. Develop procedures and scripts for data migration for MYSQL and NOSQL databases.

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 1 year of experience in software engineering or related area; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years of experience in software engineering or a related area. 

Skills required: Experience using Java to design and implement REST API web services. Experience writing JUnit and Integration test cases using Mockito framework. Experience creating webpages using HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript framework. Experience developing and designing application monitoring using telemetry tools. Experience using Jenkins and Git to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Experience scripting gherkin files for automation test scripts for automation testing. Experience building logging, alerting, and monitoring solutions using Splunk. Experience designing and implementing Kafka Producers and Consumers. Experience migrating the SOAP APIs to REST APIs using Java and Spring framework. Experience coding in object-oriented programming language Java. Experience designing and testing Relational Database Management systems using MYSQL and NOSQL Databases including Cassandra and MongoDB. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $147,481/year to $234,000/year.  Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.   Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
