Software Engineer III

Position Summary...

We are seeking an experienced and passionate QE Engineer to join our team, responsible for end-to-end quality assurance testing of large-scale eCommerce web applications, tools, or mobile platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web, backend, and mobile applications, with expertise in developing and automating highly distributed, complex APIs, automation, eCommerce websites, and mobile apps, and test automation.

About the team

Our team is an end-to-end testing team under supply chain US Omni Tech, responsible for covering the entire supply chain flow across various markets. We focus on automating these processes while also supporting initiatives in grooming sessions, design discussions, Testing, demos, and production sanity checks. Additionally, we are working on innovations to streamline production deployments, with a strong focus on AI and other cutting-edge solutions to enhance efficiency.

What You’ll Do

• Perform end-to-end quality assurance testing for multiple medium to large-scale projects
• Develop and automate tests using Selenium Automation Framework, JUnit, and TESTNG Framework
• Improve, optimize, and identify opportunities for improved software development lifecycle
• Troubleshoot critical defects in software coding
• Drive test automation efforts using open-source testing tools and implement test frameworks on web or native platforms
• Plan test schedules and drive execution activities consistently delivering products on time and with high quality
• Provide clear visibility on plans, communicate issues/risks, and progress to the team and leadership team to resolve quality issues on time and keep the project schedule on track
• Go beyond test execution and participate in improving test processes, proposing new ideas to improve customer satisfaction and quality of product
• Keep up with changes in the field of mobile technology and resolve testing challenges by applying them in day-to-day activities
• Participate in building and improving test automation tools utilized by the engineering team

• Experience with Java messaging and REST Assure API automation

Minimum Qualifications:Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 2years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Option 2: 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
