What you'll do...
As a Software Engineer III, you'll join an Agile Team to delve into our Inventory landscape. You will be responsible to build ETL and ML pipelines for the data science models used to build Walmart's Forecast, Targets and placement of the demand
About Team: Dynamic Inventory (Demand Estoimation, Targets and Placement) Inventory is at the heart of Walmart's business. Dynamic Inventory is responsible to forecast the products needs for the company in the future and place them in the right nodes and at the right amounts to provide coverage to prevent lost sales. Our team is spread across three different locations: Sunnyvale, and Bangalore.
What You'll Do
- Code, Test, and Deploy: Develop and maintain scalable solutions impacting millions of customers worldwide.
- Collaborate: Work with senior team members to gather requirements, participate in design discussions, and deploy products to production.
- Engage with Teams: Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community. Product Management and Business Engagement: Drive the agenda, set priorities, and deliver outstanding products.
What You'll Bring
- Strong Computer Science Knowledge: Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and database concepts.
- Java Expertise: Experience in building multi-threaded, high-performance, scalable applications.
- Cloud Computing: Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or similar.
- Reactive Programming: Knowledge in Reactive programming with Java is a plus.
- Working with large data and building ETL pipelines is a plus
- Design and Coding Skills: Proficiency in Java and/or Spring framework.
- High-Performance Systems: Proven experience building high-performance, highly available, and scalable systems.
- Technologies: Extensive hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and strong knowledge in data structures and SQL technologies.
- Experience with designing and building ETL pipelines on Cloud Platforms like Azure, GCP, etc. is a plus, as well as knowledge of workflow orchestration tools like Airflow. Additionally, having two or more years of experience in building production-grade ETL pipelines, along with strong data modeling, designing, and monitoring skills for large-scale workloads, is highly desirable.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
