Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duties: Develop highly scalable services such as Auction Engine and Pacing Engine to process millions of ad requests per day to solve complex system problems. Work closely with Cloud technologies (Azure and GCP), Streaming framework (Kafka), relational databases (Azure SQL), non-relational databases (Cassandra, Mega Cache) and programming languages (Java and Python). Work with the data scientists and product manager to carry out various experiments across different areas of the Adtech platforms to improve customer experience and ad relevance. Drive projects of high visibility across organization. Research and identify relevant ad inventory by managing bids in real-time to achieve client goals. Capture requirements and full lifecycle application development. Monitor the delivery of ad campaigns to ensure ads are being served correctly and meeting the desired pacing goals. Analyze campaign performance data to provide insights on pacing metrics such as impression delivery, click-through rates and conversion rates and make adjustments to optimize ad delivery. Optimize ad creatives, targeting parameters, and bidding strategies to maximize campaign performance and achieve client goals.

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 2 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise software development environment.

Skills required: Experience designing and implementing REST API web services using Java. Experience coding in an object-oriented programming language including Java, Python, and Scala. Experience in AdTech. Experience with Distributed system, Microservice architecture and Client server architecture. Experience designing and evaluating Relational Database management system using Azure SQL, Big Query and MS SQL. Experience designing and evaluating Relational Database management system including MySQL. Experience designing and assessing non-relational database management systems using Cassandra, Cosmos DB, Memcached, and Aerospike. Experience with Streaming Framework Kafka. Experience with Shell script. Experience with programing Frameworks including Spring boot, Hibernate, MVC, and Testing Framework including Junit and Mockito. Experience with Cloud based technologies Azure and AWS. Experience with Agile development. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Salary Range: $174,518/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.   Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
