What you'll do...

What you will work on…

• Design, develop and scale effective methods of reporting, storing and tracking cost data across multiple vendors and business verticals
• Create complex models to help forecast vendor costs and performance while accounting for multiple variables
• Develop dynamic pricing models with multiple inputs and variables
• Effectively track costs and order data over time and identify data trends that inform key business decisions around cost and vendor performance
• Work cross functionally with finance, accounting, operations and data science teams to resolve data inaccuracies, streamline reporting and act as a data subject matter expert for other teams
• Spearhead auditing automation projects as well as other data automation projects
• Help identify the most suitable source for data that is fit for purpose. Perform initial data quality checks on extracted data.
• Provide recommendations to business stakeholders to solve complex business issues. Develop business cases for projects with a projected return on investment or cost savings

Skills required:

• Must have extremely strong excel skills, preferably with experience with PowerBI, Python
• Must have strong attention to detail and data integrity
• Experience creating cost and pricing models
• Comfortable with translating business needs into user friendly models and using data to tell stories
• Requires knowledge of Analytics/big data analytics / automation techniques and methods; Business understanding; Precedence and use cases; Business requirements and insights.
• Must be comfortable with large sets of data that are not always clean.
• To translate/ co-own business problems within one's discipline to data related or mathematical solutions. Identify appropriate methods/tools to be leveraged to provide a solution for the problem.
• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices
• Is consistently humble, self-aware, honest, and transparent. The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
