Position Description:
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Construction Team in our Cleveland office. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and at least ten years of experience on construction projects. Excellent technical writing, organization and communication skills are essential. Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work well with others.
Typical responsibilities include:
• Act as the on-site liaison with the client and community
• Maintain excellent client relations
• Conduct field inspections
• Coordinate and communicate with contractors regarding construction project activity
• Mentor junior staff
• Responsible for project proposal development including positioning, approach, preparation and
pricing
• Responsible for project execution including scope, schedule and budget
• Manage resources to successfully deliver project to client on time and under budget while meeting
or exceeding client expectations
• Provide design/technical expertise to project
• Coordinate the design function with various team members on the project
• Ensure employees have knowledge and tools to complete tasks
• Generate additional sales through business development activities
• Supervise project review (QA/QC) meetings
• Assist with project reports and technical presentations
• Attend client, staff and project meetings
• Estimate fees, review project plans and specifications
• Maintain a safe working environment

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Skills/Experience:
•High school diploma
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is preferred or
equivalent experience
• 10+ years of related engineering or construction management experience
