Software Engineer React Native/React JS

What you’ll do

The Software Engineer is responsible for creating prototypes, designing and building modules and solutions in an iterative agile cycle, develop, maintain, and optimize the business outcome 

This role is responsible for estimating user and technical stories, designing and developing code, writing and executing unit and integration tests, and supporting testing of deliverables against user and technical story acceptance tests 

This role is responsible for performing peer reviews, collaborating with architects and other developers to produce “just enough” design, and ensuring that enough technical documentation and training is provided for reference and operational support 

This role is responsible for providing software-related operations support, including managing level two and level three incident and problem management 

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and support mobile/web applications using React Native/ReactJS, writing reusable, testable, and efficient code development team
• Participate in every aspect of development and implementation, collaborate with end users (product owners) to fully understand business requirements 
• Work in an agile team environment, progress report in daily SCRUM stand-ups 
• Ensure compliance with Vodafone policies and procedures 
• Support testing activities (functional and non-functional tests in all relevant project phases) 
• Investigate and fix defects and incidents during development and application lifecycle 
• Prepare release packages for test and production environment 
• Staying up to date by researching new technologies and software products

• Good understanding of the business capability/user journey, wider organizational goals, and desired product business outcomes 
• Understanding of both the current Telecommunications and digital services market and emerging business and technology trends

Long Description

• Staying up to date by researching new technologies and software products
• Proficient in English both spoken and written 
• 3+ years developing mobile applications with support for web/desktop
• Experience in React Native
• Experience in ReactJS, Redux, JSX, ES6, design patterns JS
• Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX
• Bootstrap and/or Material
• CSS and CSS pre-processing language (like SASS, Less or Stylus)

• Proven Experience in React Native Component integration with Android & iOS mobile apps
• Experience on the implementation of different frontend architectures component Based, Micro Frontends etc.
