About this Role

What you’ll do

• Manage and support enterprise backup environments using Commvault and NetBackup tools
• Monitor backup success rates and ensure compliance with agreed SLAs and KPIs
• Perform troubleshooting for backup, restore, replication, and media management issues
• Conduct backup health checks, capacity planning, and performance optimisation
• Support incident, problem, and change management activities in line with ITIL practices
• Participate in disaster recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution
• Validate data recoverability through restore testing and DR exercises
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during recovery events
• Contribute to automation initiatives and operational efficiency improvements
• Drive continuous service improvement through reporting and monitoring
• Support internal and external audits related to backup and recovery
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, recovery procedures, and technical standards

Who you are

• Knowledge and understanding of Commvault and NetBackup administration
• Experience in backup and recovery operations within enterprise environments
• Familiarity with ITIL-based incident and change management processes
• Ability to support disaster recovery planning and execution
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commvault Certified Professional (required)
