Role purpose

Deliver digital revenues for Vodacom through product capability development, management and continuous improvement. The Product Specialist: Capability Development is fully responsible for ensuring capability and platform delivery, customer adoption, revenue uplift (from a product and data consumption perspective) and a highly rated customer experience. It must own the feature and function roadmap for key Digital initiatives and ensure its execution in close collaboration with the technical, segment & marketing teams across opcos. 

The key responsibilities for this role include

• Develop and agree overall function & feature roadmap and approach for digital products and platforms
• Increased customer revenue through digital and data revenue streams
• Provide customers with a digital ecosystem that enables a best in class, seamless anywhere experience
• Manage digital driven data growth on the Vodacom opcos networks through an optimised digital product offering while driving a high-quality data experience for Vodacom customers.
• Manage technology and regulatory impacts in collaboration with the relevant business stakeholders.

• Enable improvements of customer satisfaction measurement for all data & digital journeys
• Drive customer engagement of data and digital products
• Continuous monitoring of performance across services and projects
• Subject Matter Expert, Organisational Leadership and communication.
• Vodacom champion for Digital 
• Obtain buy-in across the opcos and work closely with technology and marketing to ensure that digital forms part of future data propositions. Ensure timely delivery of these propositions..
• Build very close relationships with Opco and IB Marketing, Segment, Technical, Support and other teams to ensure growth of these products to achieve KPI’s
• Remove operational and execution barriers
