Senior Manager_Fullstack Architect_Pune

Role Purpose

Full Stack Technical Architect oversees the overall frontend portal architecture and design activities for the Vodafone Business USD Domain This role deliver architecture designs for cloud native front end self-service portal as per latest technology standards and Vodafone design guidelines.

You will be responsible for owning and shaping customer journey oriented full stack Digital solutions for various business demands using modern software architecture patterns. You will also support technical leads & engineering teams with incrementally evolving our stack to continuously improve the user experience, resiliency, re-usability, scalability and cost management of the components that make up our Digital stack.

Competencies

• Extensive knowledge and experience defining solution designs (including key NFRs) for Enterprise scale B2C or B2B services available on the Internet following highly decoupled micro-service and micro-frontend architecture patterns.
• Extensive knowledge and experience designing applications for the cloud (serverless & containerised compute services with auto-scaling policies, managed data services etc.).
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of REST API standards and API design.
• Demonstrable ability to convey solution designs using industry standard design frameworks such as UML (Unified Modelling Language) or C4 (Context, Containers, Components & Code).
• A working knowledge of event-based architecture concepts.
• Can demonstrate creativity & a drive to identify & make case for new innovative architecture patterns and technologies that will improve delivery efficiency, improve operational quality, reduce costs etc.
• A good understanding of the AWS or equivalent Well Architected Framework pillars and guidelines, particularly regarding application security, performance & scalability, solution maintainability & cost management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to cross-functional audience.
• A working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum & Kanban. 

Key technology Skills

• Full Stack lead with a strong focus on UI and backend development technologies
• Proficiency in React JS and its core principles
• Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and related web technologies
• Familiarity with JSON schema and it’s implementation in web applications
• Experience with Java-based backend development including frameworks such as Spring Boot, Gradle, OpenAPI and Http Client
• Cloud platform and container knowledge on AWS or Azure
• Knowledge in using various devops tools like Jenkins, Sonarqube etc and exposure to creating and setting up pipelines.
• Knowledge on Docker, Jenkins, Nexus, Groovy & Shell scripting
