What you’ll do
- Designs and implements Group Cyber Security strategy, by liaising with Vodafone central teams and onboarding Vodafone CZ in standard security solutions.
- Acts as main expert and architect/development for these main Cyber Defence areas:
- Management of Penetration Tests: Planning, scoping calls, budget oversight, procedure, reporting and evaluating the work of the penetration testing team. Ensuring all penetration tests are conducted in accordance with OWASP methodology, regulátory requirements and VF Security Policies, follow-up on retests, management of Kali-Linuxes and support penetration testers in their day to day work. Designing and implementing the group's cyber strategy in collaboration with central team
- Incident and Event Management: Rapid and effective response to security incidents and events – with local and global teams. Collaborating with local cybersecurity authorities (e.g., NUKIB) during incident. Assisting in incident response and ensuring all incidents are properly driven & documented and analyzed for future improvements.
- Additional responsibilities: Network Access, Remote access including VPN, Cryptography, Risk management related to highlighted topics. Researchs and assess new threats and security alerts, and recommends remedial actions through the whole lifecycle of enterprise services. Assesses the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and procedures and identify potential opportunities for process improvements. Understanding and contribution on business as usual reviews and approvals related to any cyber defense topics – it can include tasks with Firewall, VPN, Data Leakage Prevention, WAF, Operating Systems, Cloud environment, Middle-ware/database, servers and services/application.
- General responsibilities: Identifies key controls around network security, logical access, change management, system development and implementation, and computer operations during walkthroughs of affiliate's IT environment. You will become Single Point of Contact for relevant Cyber Defence Security platform and be a business and IT/Network partner, fostering cooperation and strengthening relationships with key peers. If required you may be asked to assists in audits and consulting projects. Coordinates and work closely with different IT, business and project teams to ensure security controls and procedures are understood and successfully implemented and actively monitored
What skills we need
- At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, particularly in managing penetration testing and/or crisis and incident management.
- Deep understanding of the latest cybersecurity technologies, practices, and methodologies – especially related to penetration testing, secure access, cryptography and incident management.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations such as GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST frameworks.
- Knowledge of IT systems and architectures, with a strong grasp of cloud security, network security, and data security solutions.
- High-level analytical skills to assess security systems, foresee potential vulnerabilities, and devise strategies to mitigate risks.
- Understanding of networking protocols (e.g., IPSEC, 802.11) and the OSI and TCP/IP model.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (english is must, czech is an advantage), capable of clearly explaining complex security risks and strategies to stakeholders at all levels, including non-technical audiences.
- Focused on the timely delivery of results while able to judge and make compromise when and where needed.
- Engage on innovation initiatives.
- Be a teamplayer with broader Cybersecurity community, linking point with group Cybersecurity function
