About this Role
What you will do
- Understand telecommunications technology stacks, delivery approaches, and strategic initiatives to define effective performance testing strategies.
- Deliver testing projects and ensure efficient execution of non-functional testing activities.
- Develop dynamic performance test scripts and scenarios using industry-standard tools.
- Execute and coordinate performance tests and communicate outcomes to stakeholders and vendor partners.
- Follow established testing processes, metrics, reporting standards, and governance requirements.
- Drive improvements in automation and identify opportunities to increase testing efficiency and reusability.
- Develop and maintain non-functional testing strategies aligned to project risks, schedules, and testing objectives.
- Collaborate with application, development, and operations teams to investigate and resolve performance-related issues.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy of all testing deliverables.
- Promote reusability of test assets, scripts, datasets, and test frameworks across projects.
- Identify, capture, track, and support resolution of defects through agreed defect management processes.
- Contribute to lessons learnt activities and recommend improvements to testing methodologies and standards.
- Communicate project status, risks, issues, and test outcomes to relevant stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Support the Test Lead and Test Service Manager in delivering testing services aligned with agreed methodologies and service levels.
Who you are
- Proven experience delivering performance testing solutions within large-scale, multinational environments.
- Hands-on expertise with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, SOAP UI, Gatling, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience testing across multiple protocols and enterprise platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD environments and tools including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, and related technologies.
- Experience with Kubernetes, microservices architectures, AWS Cloud, and Oracle OCI environments.
- Strong performance test scripting, execution, and results analysis capabilities.
- Understanding of non-functional requirements and volumetric analysis.
- Working knowledge of Java, C, VB Macros, SQL, and shell scripting to customise testing solutions.
- Understanding of Java/JVM architecture, garbage collection, class loading, thread dumps, and database performance analysis.
- Experience using application performance monitoring and diagnostics tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, CA Wily, HP Diagnostics, or similar solutions.
- Ability to interpret technical findings and communicate insights clearly to both technical and business audiences.
- Knowledge of supporting tools such as Fiddler, Firebug, HAR, and Lighthouse is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in diverse and multicultural environments.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results, adapt to change, and maintain a customer-focused mindset.
