What you’ll do

1. Design and develop Machine Learning systems and patterns
2. Automate predictive model software, including model training
3. Productionise data science prototypes and develop Machine Learning apps according to data science requirements
4. Facilitate the flow of data between ML/AI models and the company’s data systems
5. Enhancing data pipelines to ensure that data is clean, accurate and optimized for machine learning models
6. Work with the architecture team to evolve the Big Data capabilities (reusable assets/patterns) and components to support the business requirements/objectives
7. Research, investigate and evaluate new technologies and methods to improve delivery and sustainability of machine learning applications and services
8. Make contributions to the process of defining best practice for the agile development of applications to run on the Big Data Platform

Who you are

Experience in AWS services (Sagemaker Pipelines, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, SNS, Eventbridge, CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeCommit, Sagemaker Studio etc.)

Knowledge of Big Data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Yarn, Airflow.

ML frameworks like H2O and TensorFlow

ML Libraries like Scikit Learn etc

Docker/Kubernetes

Python Programming 

Working experience with other distributed technologies, NoSQL databases and streaming technologies would be desirable

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

1. 3-year IT or IS degree or diploma or related field is essential
2. Advanced degree in Computer Science/Math/Statistics or a related discipline would be an advantage
3. Relevant cloud certification at professional or associate level
4. 5+ years of relevant experience as AI/ML Engineer
