We are seeking a Junior AI Software Engineer to work within the Digital&IT team, supporting the design, build and operation of core Digital&IT capabilities. In this role, the candidate will work in cross-functional squads and apply AI-enabled Software Development Life Cycle practices to help analyse existing systems, generate structured specifications, support software delivery and validate AI-generated outputs against engineering standards. 

The role is suited to someone with a strong foundation in software engineering, an interest in AI-assisted delivery, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, architects and product teams to create reusable engineering artefacts and support incremental, specification-led development.
