Associate Software Engineer

Location: London Speechmark Office + *Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Mon to Fri

What you’ll do 

We’re looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join our collaborative and solutions driven agile team. This role is ideal for individuals starting on their development career journey. You may be looking for your first role after completing a relevant apprenticeship, degree or course, or maybe you’ve been building applications in your spare time.  

• You will be involved in delivery of technical solutions with clean, well-tested code.
• You will be an active part of the engineering community team and collaborating with other engineers
• You will build cross-browser solutions optimised for a wide range of devices.

Who you are 

• You will have working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• You will have experience coding JavaScript using both vanilla and frameworks like React.
• You will pledge a commitment to user-centred design, web standards, usability, and accessibility.
• You will have knowledge of responsive web design – with an understanding of core concepts such as mobile first.
