The Opportunity

As a Senior Software Engineer at Vix Technology, you’ll design and deliver the technology that makes modern public transport possible. Working alongside Platform Engineers, Hardware Specialists, and Product Owners, you’ll create secure, scalable, and forward thinking software that connects people to their cities and to each other.

Vix encourages in person collaboration, with a hybrid working pattern that includes 3 days in-office.

Requirements

• Design, build, and maintain secure, reusable, and scalable software solutions that keep transport systems running.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams from engineers to product owners, bringing ideas to life.
• Drive technical excellence through innovation, peer review, and mentorship.
• Investigate, problem solve, and deliver solutions that make a measurable difference to customers and communities.
• Help shape the next generation of mobility technology in a company that truly values your ideas and input.

What You Will Bring:

• You’re an experienced developer (5+ years) who combines technical depth with curiosity and creativity. 
• You’re fluent in Salesforce technologies: Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Lightning (LWC, Aura), and Apex. 
• You’re comfortable working with APIs, automation, and modern DevOps practices.
• An understanding of what great software looks like: secure, maintainable, and built with the user in mind. 
• You’re collaborative by nature, love solving problems that matter, and enjoy mentoring others along the way.
