Job Description

Responsible for the development and implementation.

Work with business partners and team members to fully understand business requirements and desired business outcomes.

Formulate business problems as technical data problems while ensuring key business drivers are captured in collaboration with product stakeholders.

For the issues identified, do a detailed root cause analysis, fix configuration issues.

Find opportunities to create, automate and scale repeatable analyses or build self-service tools for business users.

Work with limited direction, usually within a complex environment, to drive delivery of solutions and meet service levels.

Ensure that all software developed conforms to Visa’s high standards of security, quality, performance, resiliency, and compliance.

Responsibilities also include the creation of conceptual approach, technical analysis, development, unit testing, deploy and support activities.

With active engagement, collaboration, effective communication, quality, integrity, and reliable delivery, develop and maintain a trusted and valued relationship with the team, customers, and business partners.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
-2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, OR 5+ years of
relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
-3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2
years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD,
MD)
-Minimum of 3 years of software development experience (with a concentration
in data centric initiatives), with demonstrated expertise in leveraging standard
development best practice methodologies.
Key Skills Needed
-Proficiency in either Python or Java programming languages and frameworks.
-Strong working experience with REST web services
-Knowledge and working experience on Git/Stash, Jenkins, and Jira
-Experience with database technologies like MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL
-Hands on experience in shell scripting.
-Modeling and developing automated processes using Robotics Process
Automations will be a plus.
-Understanding of the architecture and best practices in the use of RPA will be a
plus.
-Experience with Agile & DevOps methodologies.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong automation
mindset.
-Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-Process-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, applies both
innovation and logic to tackle complex problems.
-Quick learner, self-starter, detailed and thorough
-Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with both technical and non-
technical audiences.
