Job Description

CyberSource Corporation, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. SW Engineer (multiple openings) in Austin, TX to

• Architect, design, build, develop, test, and/or implement software systems and/or applications as part of the Enterprise Risk Solutions team.
• Conduct business and technical analysis, code reviews and unit testing to help our customers achieve their goals based on business requirements.
• Design, develop and implement modifications and corrections to existing software, including the development of debugging routines.
• Work with Technical Product Management to understand business requirements, architect a solution that is robust and scalable, and provide technical documentation of a solution.
• Demonstrate proficiency and ease with programming languages, code quality initiatives, scripting languages and operating systems.
• Leverage new technologies to build the next generation of Risk Services.
• Play key role to design and implement various components of our global transaction processing systems.
• Position reports to the Austin, TX office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Sr. SW Engineer-related occupation.
• Position requires:
• Java, REST, SQL, NoSQL, and JSON;
• Docker, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS4;
• GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, and JUnit.

Additional Information

Worksite: Austin, TX

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $119,100.00 USD to $190,400.00 USD per year. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
