Job Description

Digital Marketing Enablement team is seeking for an experienced full stack SW engineer who is passionate about solving challenging business problems and building web applications that provide an excellent performance and user experience. You will be an integral part of the Digital Marketing Enablement Team- Visa.com, development team focusing on design and build of web based performant solutions for Visa's Marketing Strategy to solve business problems. The role is for a self-motivated individual with software engineering skills and Open systems technologies. 

As a AEM developer, the candidate will have the opportunity to build web solutions and influence design. The individual will work closely with Product Management and other developers on the team to design, develop and iterate our platform/applications to prepare for broad deployment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business units and technical staff to understand business requirements for use in designing appropriate solutions. 

  • Evaluate, recommend and work with the team to build out the strategy for migrating legacy system towards using the industries next generation tools.

  • Create design documents, code, unit/functional test, document and implement new software's and subprograms, as well as enhancements, modifications, and corrections to existing software.

  • Review and challenge requirements and implementations design.

  • Provide rotational on call support for problem analysis and resolution as scheduled or required.

  • Build engaging, usable, and accessible UI applications/components/code libraries for web.

  • Build Single Page Applications that consume REST services

  • Create or update design and UI documentation.

  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
• 5 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or with an Advanced Degree.
• At least 5 years of development experience, minimum of 3-4 years of Adobe AEM experience implementing full cycle Adobe AEM projects (AEM 6.3 and later required, AEM 6.5 and AEM Cloud is a plus) and minimum of 2 years in Front End development for highly scalable Web Portals / Web Applications.
• Solid experience with AEM building blocks including templates and components.
• Familiar with Multi Site Manager (MSM), Tenant Onboarding, Dispatcher Setup etc.
• Experience with communicating to different systems from AEM, using both front end and back-end technologies (Sling servlet, OSGi service, Sling, AngularJS)
• Experience with JUnit and other testing frameworks in AEM
• Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5 and third-party libraries such as ReactJS, Angular, jQuery, and Stencil.js.
• Experience in working on Microservices and containerization such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Use JavaScript UI frameworks like NodeJS, Angular, Stencil
• Ability to work quickly in an agile environment, part of an on-call rotation duty among other engineers.
• Experience with GIT, Jira and Jenkins. Participate in Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery pipeline
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written).
• Experience with GenAI tools is plus
