Job Description

CyberSource Corporation, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Software Engineer - Sr. Consultant (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to

• Work as a part of the Enterprise Payments team to design, enhance and build the transactional platform in an agile development environment.
• Support multiple teams tasked with multiple projects ranging from building full stack development of real-time transactional services, REST services API, and container based services to highly functional, secure, scalable and resilient real time and batching systems.
• Work on unit testing, code reviews and regular check-ins to continuous integration.
• Leverage new technologies to build the next generation of Transactional systems.
• Translate functional and non- functional requirements into an engineered solution.
• Develop and deliver new features and be responsible for them.
• Position reports to the Employer’s Foster City, California office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
 

• Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 6 months of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
• Experience must include:
• Core Java, JEE technologies, Spring, REST and container-based technologies.
• RDBMS, NoSQLDB such as Cassandra, Mongo DB, Hibernate.
• Architecting solutions with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in mind
• Developing and deploying components as docker containers.
• Implementing design patterns.
• Experience in the skills may be gained via academic coursework and/or work experience.

Additional Information

Worksite: Foster City, CA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $147,700.00 USD to $236,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
