The Opportunity:

We are looking for talented, curious, and energetic Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who embrace solving complex challenges on a global scale. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be an integral part of a cross-functional development team inventing, designing, building, and testing software products that reach a truly global customer base. While building components of cutting-edge payment technology, you will get to see your efforts shaping the digital future of monetary transactions.

You will be a member of the Service Automation Team, which is tasked with analyzing and identifying recurring issues encountered by various application teams within the organization. Your role will involve developing frameworks to provide comprehensive solutions, thereby reducing manual effort and time spent by the team.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, OR 2+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of work experience
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Development or DevOps role.
• Strong understanding and working experience with any of the programming languages either Java, Spring, or .NET.
• Strong knowledge on APIs development and usage.
• Very Good knowledge on any of the Data bases (MySQL, MSSQL or Oracle)
• UNIX Shell scripting, PowerShell, Python or Any other scripting knowledge is mandatory.
• Should be having Knowledge on Messaging Queues (IBM MQ, AMQ, Kafka etc.)
• Experience in supporting systems that run on Linux & Windows Environment.
• Experience with any of the web-related technologies including Apache, Tomcat, IIS.
• Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, application design, and implementing major components for large projects.
• Basics of networking concepts related to Load balancing, Routing, Protocols, Subnets, DNS
• Knowledge of SSL certificates, monitoring tools, alert escalation, customer / vendor management etc.
• Conversant with monitoring tools like Splunk/ Catch point.
• Build tools to automate production support activities that enable efficiency and productivity of Service desk and other operations groups.
• Familiarity and/or experience in implementing ITIL concepts in addition to technical aptitude are highly valued.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Kubernetes, containers, and GEN AI is preferred.
