Job Description
The Visa Innovation is a unique entity at Visa Brazil, responsible for the exploration, incubation and launch of new solutions. We operate in an agile mind set to rapidly build, test, iterate, and scale products quickly. We are a team of entrepreneurs, engineers, product developers and creators looking to build ambitious businesses.
The Product Innovation Manager – Project Management is a versatile role, able to lead a variety of product development efforts and partnerships to launch impactful product concepts and platforms that can scale. This role will work collaboratively with lean teams composed of entrepreneurs, product managers and full-stack developers in an agile environment.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage cross-functional projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Establish standardized project management methodologies, processes, and best practices within the organization.
Support the design and implementation of project portfolio management frameworks, including project selection criteria, prioritization methods, and resource allocation models.
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and success criteria.
Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates, resolving issues, and driving decision-making processes.
Communicate project status, milestones, and dependencies effectively to all stakeholders, including executive leadership.
Identify and manage project risks, proactively addressing challenges to minimize impact on project outcomes.
Foster a collaborative team environment, empowering team members and fostering a culture of accountability and ownership.
Track project performance using appropriate metrics and reporting tools, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance and standardize project management processes, methodologies, and best practices within the organization.
Serve as a change agent, promoting a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration across the organization.
Develop and maintain key PMO artifacts, such as project charters, status reports, risk registers, and lessons learned documentation.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
• Minimum bachelor’s degree, ideally in related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in conjunction with a less technical bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a related field with project management experience including product conception as well as launching, building, and deploying multiple products.
• Strong understanding of product development and rapid prototyping capabilities.
• Experience working with a variety of stakeholders, clients, and external partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in driving third party technology partnerships and contract management.
• Demonstrated organizational, planning, and analytical skills, including project scheduling, estimating, risk identification, and change management.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently, yet seamlessly integrate activities and collaborate effectively within a program team across other organizations.
• Ability to influence without direct authority to achieve necessary goals.
• A passion for solving the problems of the future through innovation, technology & design.
• Be able to multitask and manage a varying workload with minimal supervision.
• Project management experience, or related field, PMP certification is a plus.
• Proven experience managing complex projects in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Jira.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of project management.
• Demonstrated experience with open-source infrastructure as code software and automation software development tools such as Terraform.
• Experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or development including hands on professional experience in public cloud infrastructure frameworks.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in the payment industry is a plus.
