Job Description

• Work collaboratively with Data Analyst, Data Scientists Software Engineers and cross-functional partners to design and deploy data pipelines to deliver analytical solution.
• Responsible for building data pipelines, data model, data marts, data warehouse including OLAP cube in multidimensional data model with proficiency / conceptual understanding of PySpark and SQL scripting.
• Responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation and support functional semantic data marts using various modeling techniques from underlying data stores/data warehouse and facilitate Business Intelligence Data Solutions
• Experience in building reports, dashboards, scorecards & visualization using Tableau/ Power BI and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and extract insights from structured and unstructured data.
• Responsible for AI/ML model Utilizing machine learning, statistical methods, data mining, forecasting and predictive modeling techniques.
• Following Dev Ops Model, Agile implementation, CICD method of deployment & JIRA creation / management for projects.
• Define and build technical/data documentation and experience with code version control systems (for e.g., git).
• Assist owner with periodic evaluation of next generation & modernization of platform.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s in engineering, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or Math required. With 1+ years of software development experience in building large scale data processing platforms.
• Understanding and familiarity of Datawarehouse concepts including Data Modeling, Data Warehouse structure, OLAP including BI suite of exposure to Data Analysis, Visualization Reporting & Storytelling.
• 1 or more years of hands-on experience with SQL/Hive/PySpark/Presto for extracting, aggregating & storing data leveraging from Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Scala, Tez and MapReduce.
• 1 or more years of hands-on experience in implementing End-to-End Business Intelligence suite, understanding ETL strategy & influencing the data model decisions for reporting.
• 1 or more years of hands-on experience in OLAP (SSAS - Tabular) & Reporting (Tableau, Power BI, SSRS or any BI etc.. ) with expertise in DAX, SQL scripting or any SQL variant.
• 1 or more years of hands-on experience on:
o Developing sophisticated data visualizations using Tableau, Power BI or other viz tools.
o Implementing Out-Of-the-Box capabilities within Tableau/PBI/SSAS using cmd/SDK/APIs.
o Implementing build integration, test and deployment automation on above tools.
o Implementing ETL layers with understanding E2E Data flow & SCD's concepts.
o Scripting languages such as Python & R.
• Working knowledge in identifying the performance bottleneck in Tableau, Power BI, SSAS and database components. Advice team on appropriate tuning techniques w.r.t SQL & DAX scripting.
• Good understanding in leading-edge areas such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Gen AI and MLOps is a plus.
• Hand-on experience implementing solutions using NLP, LLM & Predictive Model with understanding on specific area like xgboost, classification, neural networks etc.. is good to have.
• Working knowledge in Data & BI administration (Yarn, Splunk, Profiler, Perfmon, Security Architecture, User creation & Audit etc) will be an added advantage.
• Understanding and familiarity of billing system and finance domain preferred.
