Data Engineer, Data Infrastructure

Information about the position 

We’re looking for a Data Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer to help evolve and scale a Data Platform in Vinted that serves the Vinted Data Science & Analytics users.  As part of the Data Platform team, you’ll work with us on a Data infrastructure and related tooling. In this position, you’ll 

• Build and improve tooling around our Data Platform infrastructure
• Manage and maintain infrastructure with code
• Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to the cloud environment
• Implement and manage security measures to protect the cloud environment
• Work within Platform team & work closely with Users to deploy and scale applications
• Improve the reliability and cost effectiveness of the environment

About you 

• A number of years programming experience
• Experience in software development
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Infrastructure (Preferably with Terraform)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good written and spoken technical communication skills.
• Preferred experience with schedulers (Airflow, Dagster, etc.), BigQuery, dbt.
• Familiarity or experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform (CDK), Github and Github actions would be advantageous.

The salary range for this position is €3,558 - €4,808 gross per month.
