Role Summary & Key Objectives
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior / Lead QA (Manual) professional to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our SaaS-based product platforms. The role involves creating test strategies, writing detailed test cases, executing functional and regression tests, and ensuring smooth product releases with minimal defects.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manual testing for SaaS, multi-tenant systems, web applications, and mobile applications, along with the ability to lead QA processes, mentor junior testers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
The key objective is to strengthen product stability, improve test coverage, and reduce production issues through structured QA practices.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for SaaS modules and product releases.
Perform functional, regression, usability, integration, and cross-browser testing across web and mobile platforms.
Lead QA activities across sprints: test planning, estimation, prioritization, and defect tracking.
Coordinate with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure clarity and accuracy in requirements.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, ClickUp, or similar, ensuring timely resolution.
Mentor junior QA team members, conduct reviews of test cases, and promote best practices and QA standards.
Participate in release readiness, impact analysis, and continuous QA process improvements to enhance product quality.
Must-Have Skills
Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience in manual testing for SaaS applications, web apps, and mobile platforms.
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect lifecycle.
Expertise in writing detailed test cases, test scenarios, and traceability matrices.
Experience in API testing using Postman (basic validation).
Ability to perform cross-browser testing, responsive testing, and usability validation.
Good understanding of database validation (SQL basics).
Familiarity with performance considerations in SaaS environments.

Experience Requirements
6โ9 years of experience in manual QA for SaaS or complex web applications.
At least 2 years in a senior or lead QA role managing sprint-level quality and mentoring team members.
Experience in working closely with product managers, designers, and engineering teams.
