[DT] : PHP (Slim-based architectures) Developer

• Design and implement robust, scalable, high-performance backend systems, APIs, and services using best-in-class architecture practices.
• Take ownership of system-wide components, from planning to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, frontend teams, DevOps, and architects to translate business needs into engineering solutions.
• Review and approve complex code changes, ensuring maintainability, performance, and security.
• Lead and participate in system-wide debugging, profiling, and performance tuning efforts.
• Drive the technical direction of backend projects, including the selection of frameworks, design of s, and service boundaries.
• Mentor engineers in clean code practices, domain-driven design, and performance-first development.
• Support the team during on-call duties and help lead effective incident responses and postmortems.
• Help define and enforce technical standards, review pull requests, and uphold best practices in version control, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Contribute to the evolution of development pipelines, test strategies, and deployment tooling.
• Assist in recruitment by conducting technical interviews and coding assessments.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of backend engineering experience designing and operating distributed, high-concurrency systems.
• Strong foundation in OOP, software architecture, design patterns, and clean, maintainable code.
• Advanced hands-on PHP experience, including large, long-lived codebases and custom or in-house frameworks (including Slim-based architectures).
• Proven experience building, operating, and evolving microservices and versioned REST APIs in production.
• Strong understanding of PHP runtime internals (PHP-FPM, OPcache, memory management, workers, CLI vs request lifecycle).
• Solid experience with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), data modeling, caching strategies, and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with asynchronous processing, message brokers (e.g. RabbitMQ), and load balancing.
• Strong experience with API testing and validation (integration, contract, negative testing; e.g. PHPUnit, Postman/Newman).
• Skilled in performance profiling, system diagnostics, and production debugging.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, GIT, modern delivery workflows, automated deployments, and infrastructure-as-code workflows.
• Good understanding of backend security best practices (authentication, authorization, secrets management, input validation).
• Strong production ownership mindset with excellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English communication (B2+), written and spoken.
• Hands-on experience using agentic AI coding systems for multi-step engineering tasks.
• Strong grasp of core agentic AI foundations, including: AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code, Copilot, Gemini CLI, ChatGPT Codex), Context & memory management, Commands, sub-agents, and MCP servers, Structured outputs (JSON schemas), Function/tool-calling best practices (e.g. CLI tool usage)

• Experience with event-driven architectures, eventual consistency, and domain-driven design (DDD).
• Exposure to observability stacks for metrics, logs, and tracing (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Familiarity with GraphQL and schema-driven API design.
• Experience with real-time or streaming systems.
• Hands-on experience with performance and load testing (e.g. k6, JMeter, Gatling), capacity planning, and bottleneck analysis.
• Contributions to open-source projects or internal backend frameworks and tooling.
• Experience mentoring engineers or owning backend services end-to-end.
• Advanced agentic AI patterns, such as hooks, RAG, cost optimization, self-checking/critique loops, tool mocking for tests, and A/B testing prompts or agents.
