What you’ll be doing...

Define the IT solution architecture for Telecom Business products and API integration between the IT tools used. Translate the business requirements into systems architecture flow to enable capabilities. Responsible for technology selection, assessment and technical evaluation of the initiatives such as Digital Marketplace and Private Wireless Networks Ordering, Billing and Support Systems while recommending IT solutions that are simple, scalable, sustainable and above all secure. Design integration architecture employing Microservices and RESTful JSON services to support Core Wireless, Digital Marketplace, Private Wireless Networks and 5G Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC). Ensure the designed IT solutions align with Product and Operations units and create a transparent user experience. Define IT architecture work for revenue initiatives on core wireless and contribute towards future 5G, Business Internet and MEC. Leverage emerging telecom technologies in the architectural solutions. Design and develop a reference implementation for an enterprise scale IT architecture that can assist development teams across multiple organizations. Work on overall information systems architecture and build reference architecture using the Enterprise Architecture framework. Work with vendors to evaluate new products to continue evolving the NorthStar architecture for CRM and CPQ domains. Research and recommend the optimal IT solutions for projects implementing Private Wireless Networks and MEC. Drive IT solution development through requirements gathering/analysis/discovery, business plan creation, and solution level of effort estimation to ensure that client interests are met and potential business opportunities are established. Coach and mentor development teams, conduct brown-bag meetings and implement Proof of Concepts.

What we’re looking for...

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 6 years of experience in the job offered or as a Senior Technical Architect, Principal Technical Architect, Telecom Enterprise Architect, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 6 years performing each of the following skills:

• Telecom Business Domain expertise;
• Telecom expertise in emerging technologies including 5G, MEC and Private Network;
• Application Development Skills including Java, SQL, PEGA, Java script, Shell Script and J2EE; and
• Research & Development.

Hybrid role, ability to work from home.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
