What you’ll be doing…

We are looking for data engineers who can work with world class team members to help drive telecom business to its full potential.  We are building data products / assets for telecom wireless and wireline business which includes consumer analytics, telecom network performance and service assurance analytics etc. We are working on cutting edge technologies like digital twin to build these analytical platforms and provide data support for varied AI ML implementations. 

What you’ll be doing...

This position will design and do development for high profile projects aiming at churn reduction, customer acquisition and customer upselling along with transformation of real time data engineering model through implementation initiatives including manipulating and analyzing complex data, transforming information into insights and presenting recommendations to key stakeholders.

• Building and maintaining Enterprise Level Standard Data Pipe-Lines on real time streaming data.

• Guiding/Performing ad-hoc analysis and develop reproducible analytical approaches to meet business requirements.

• Performing exploratory and targeted data analyses using descriptive statistics and other methods.

• Using complex algorithms to develop systems & applications that deliver business functions or architectural components.

• Delivering the technical design and implementation of large data ingestion with clear failover and performance strategy.

• Building & maintaining appropriate technical and reference documents for every program and delivery.

• Following best practices on design and implementation to aid in company-wide data governance.

• Improving existing data pipelines by simplifying and increasing performance.

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Four or more years of relevant work experience.

• Three or more years of experience with data pipelines using tools from GCP DataFlow, Composer and BigQuery.

• Three or more years of experience in GCP using Apache Beam and Java.

• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka/RabbitMQ/Pulsar/GCP Pub-Sub etc along with cache like Redis and GCP Memory Store.

• Experience with data observability and monitoring tools like CloudLogging/NewRelic/Kibana/Grafana

• Experience in using GCP Dataflow templates to create reusable components.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Agile development environment experience applying DEVOPS/AIOPS practices.

• Strong critical thinking, Can-do attitude and is an innovative thinker, excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to liaise with various partners locally and internationally
