What you’ll be doing...

Build strategy and roadmap for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) adoption for system availability and reliability. Work on Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and incident resolution. Conduct capacity and strategic planning for cloud and software utilization including lifecycle management. Establish standards for application deployments, configuration management, and third party integration using Devops with Jenkins, Ansbile, Git, Maven, and Bash Scripting. Work on Containers, Kubernetes, RHEL, Windows Servers, and Oracle Solaris. Define unified process, tooling, and automation for application performance management and operational efficiency. Manage distributed SRE teams and service engagements. Mentor managers and members in site reliability engineering practices. Develop web applications using Oracle weblogic, Apache tomcat, Oracle SOA suite, Java, Javascript, Oracle, PL/SQL, and Spring. Work on AWS Services EC2, VPC, EBS and Architecture. Build, monitor, alert and automate practices.  

What we’re looking for...

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a Sr. Systems Engineer, Sr. Site Reliability Engineer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 5 years in IT development, operations and engineering management leading and managing engineering teams. 5 years of experience developing software using AWS Services EC2, VPC, EBS and Architecture. 5 years of experience working with Cloud, Linux, Virtualization and Containerization technologies. 5 years of experience with Devops with Jenkins, Ansbile, Git, Maven, and Bash Scripting. 5 years of experience building monitoring, alerting and automation practices. 5 years of experience with Containers, Kubernetes, RHEL, Windows Servers, and Oracle Solaris. 5 years of experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK, Jira, and Agile. 5 years of experience with Oracle weblogic, Apache tomcat, Oracle SOA suite, Java, Javascript, Oracle, PL/SQL, and Spring. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.
