What you’ll be doing...

Type of Work: Highly technical, hands-on, and execution-focused. The daily focus is on supporting senior architects on massive enterprise deals, managing smaller transactional deals independently, and building technical designs centered around enterprise networking, 5G, and Unified Communications.

Expected Volumes: High volume of tactical execution. You will manage multiple solution designs, design network and telecom hardware/software, build Bill of Materials (BOMs), draw network topologies, and assist in drafting technical responses for RFPs/RFIs concurrently.

Risk & Criticality: You are the hands-on technical validator for the team. While your architectural designs on large deals are overseen and approved by senior architects or your Manager, your ability to rapidly and flawlessly execute solution designs directly impacts deal momentum. Design failures or inaccurate BOMs can stall the sales cycle and impact margins.

What we’re looking for...

  • Technical Sales Support: Partner with Solution Architects and Account Executives to provide tactical support on large deals. This includes generating accurate Bill of Materials (BOMs), creating detailed network topology diagrams, and drafting technical RFP/RFI responses.

  • Mid-Market Solution Design: Take full ownership of solution architecture and technical pre-sales for smaller, lower-complexity transactional deals (e.g., standard branch office networking or basic UCaaS deployments), applying best practices learned from the team.

  • Cross-Functional Technical Handoff: Package successful solution designs,, and technical documentation to ensure a clean, seamless handoff to the internal Implementation teams once a deal is closed.

  • Basic Tool Automation: Identify opportunities to use basic scripts (e.g., Python, REST APIs) to speed up repetitive lab setups or configuration tasks.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
  • 2 to 4 years of hands-on technical experience in networking, network engineering, tech support, or a junior pre-sales/systems engineering role.
  • Hands-on Networking Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and LAN/WAN architectures (equivalent to a CCNA level of knowledge).
  • Deep understanding on software-defined networking (SDN) or SD-WAN, 5G, RAN and UCC concepts
  • Thorough knowledge of cloud computing principles (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and how traditional networks connect to cloud environments.
  • Entry-level industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA, Cisco DevNet Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or CompTIA Network+/Security+

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Hands-on in software-defined networking (SDN) or SD-WAN, 5G, RAN and UCC services.

  • Hands-on Automation Skills: Practical experience writing scripts to automate technical tasks. Familiarity with Python, Ansible, JSON/XML, REST APIs, and using tools like Postman

  • Understanding, integrating or building with LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or equivalent) including prompt engineering and tool/function calling.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
