About The Role

Develops and executes software and system tests, ensuring high-quality VeriFone products through thorough planning, automation, analysis, and issue resolution.

What you'll do 

• Develops and performs software and system-level testing on VeriFone products to maintain VeriFone product quality standards.
• Develops and executes software test plans, detailed test cases and test procedures. Modifies or develops test scripts when appropriate to support automated test execution.
• Maintains documentation of test results and refines testing of the product to ensure reproducible identification of problems to assist in debugging and modification of software.
• Analyses test results to ensure coverage against product requirements.
• Supports and consults with development engineers in resolution of problems. 

What qualifications will you need to be successful? 

• Automation and Scripting experience of 2 to 3 years 
• Good understanding of Python 
• Understanding of Test Automation tools and process 
• Knowledge of Communication interfaces such as WiFi, Cellular, BT and USB is desirable 
• Analyzes requirements and other engineering documentation to establish test plans, test cases and test procedures 
• Writes test scripts for automated testing using Python 
• Performs manual test execution, analyzes results and generates test reports 
• Establishes repeatable test scenarios for identified failures and supports efforts to identify the source of failures while working with engineering to resolve issues 
• Works on assignments with clearly defined objectives. 
• Works under direct supervision.
