CT Consultants, a Verdantas Company, is an innovative, growing, and trusted engineering and architectural consulting firm, which has been providing clients with award winning projects and inspired solutions since 1922.  We are hiring a talented Sr. Bridge Engineer / Project Manager for our Transportation group to contribute to our growth as an industry leader. To excel you should have a strong desire to perform at the highest level with accuracy, thoroughness, and strong attention to detail, all while being part of our people-focused culture. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing bridge design projects and project teams
  • Apply diversified engineering principles and practices to our bridge engineering operations in Ohio 
  • Preparing project documents and developing cost estimates
  • Design work, using MicroStation, as well as client-facing interactions with a potential for some business development and project manager responsibilities
  • Performing basic and complex engineering calculations, including construction quantities
  • Performing load ratings of bridges and other structures
  • Performing seismic analysis using 3D finite element modeling software
  • Checking calculations and designs produced by other team members
  • Collaborating with other engineers to identify the appropriate design criteria to perform minor, major, and complex bridge design and load rating assignments
  • Perform QA/QC on drawings from drafters, designers, and/or design engineers on project
  • Perform the duties of a Project Engineer, stamp/sign drawings or reports and/or serve as Engineer of Record for the project
