Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning, scheduling, MRO, and CBM personnel for the site
  • Drive and conduct Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis across the plant
  • Develop and implement maintenance and reliability strategies within Veolia's corporate Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Define, track, and report on plant reliability KPIs: Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), Planned Maintenance Percentage (PMP)
  • Monitor and track key equipment reliability strategies, such as condition monitoring, equipment mapping, non-destructive testing (NDT), and visual inspections.
  • Lead the implementation of predictive technologies, including vibration analysis, ultrasonic analysis, thermography, PdMA, oil analysis, corrosion detection, and dissolved gas analysis
  • Perform & document equipment criticality analysis in support of an effective critical spares strategy
  • Lead technical incident investigations through Root Cause Analysis (Cause Mapping/Fault Free Diagram/5Whys/Cost Benefit Analysis) and implementation of recommended solutions
  • Analyze data to identify reliability trends, forecast risks, and drive improvements in equipment uptime, cost, and safety
  • Support in establishing maintenance job plans including shutdowns/outages
  • Apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment/production issues across multiple production lines, working cross-functionally with operations, engineering, maintenance, etc. 
  • Develop, write, and review new process documentation
  • Champion and lead the plant's shift toward digitization, owning the implementation of digital reliability tools and technologies
  • Lead capital projects aimed at enhancing reliability
  • Develop and implement a lubrication program effectiveness and the hydraulics improvement plan
  • Support in developing the Asset Register and Hierarchies
  • Ability and willingness to wear personal protective equipment, for example, safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes, as required

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of CMMS and data analytics
  • Computer literate with MS Office, Google, and similar software
  • Good communication, interpretation, and active listening skills
  • Highly motivated, dynamic, and self-disciplined individual with strong technical competence and excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team

Education & Experience:

Required

  • B.S. degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field) 
  • 5+ years of experience as a Reliability Engineer, Operations Engineer, or Maintenance Engineer
  • Experience working in a manufacturing facility 

Preferred

  • 7+ years of experience as a Reliability Engineer, Operations Engineer, or Maintenance Engineer
  • Possession of a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (or similar) certification, such as MMP, CMRP, or CRE
  • Lean manufacturing experience

Compensation:
The compensation range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $108,000-$120,00 USD.
