Sr. Program Manager, Finance - 6 months contract

Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina

Department: Finance, FP&A, SVP 1009519

As the market leader in both data resilience and data security posture management, Veeam is built for the convergence of identity, data, security, and AI risk. Join us as we go fearlessly forward together, growing, learning, and making a real impact for some of the world’s biggest brands.

Veeam Finance is seeking an execution-focused, highly organized Program Manager for a 6-month contract to help build our foundational Operations Delivery framework. This role is designed to alleviate high administrative toil on leadership and optimize cross-functional delivery velocity.

The successful candidate will move the organization away from localized delivery processes and tools and introduce uniform, predictive project controls. You will partner directly with the Strategic Ops Lead to pilot and co-pilot execution across our most visible, highest-priority corporate finance workstreams.

What You'll Do

  • Critical Project Delivery: Co-pilot execution on high-priority corporate finance workstreams, driving timelines and keeping cross-functional teams accountable.
  • Predictive Risk & Dependency Management: Establish and own the baseline RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies). Proactively map horizontal cross-team dependencies to eliminate critical schedule bottlenecks before they require executive firefighting.
  • Governance & Accountability Frameworks: Support implementing and socializing standardized governance tools, including high-level DACI/RACI matrices and clear risk escalation protocols.
  • Data-Driven Transparency: Champion a "single source of truth" by utilizing standardized project status report templates and dashboards. Transition the team from manual, ad-hoc information "pulls" to automated, structured reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & SteerCos: Support the execution and guidance of Steering Committees (SteerCos) to maintain alignment with Executive Leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement Culture: Facilitate team retrospectives at a regular cadence and lead thorough post-mortems after critical milestones to build a self-correcting team dynamic.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in project management or project coordination, ideally supporting corporate portfolios or matrixed environments.
  • Core PM Frameworks: Mastery of core project management practices, specifically dependency mapping, proactive risk mitigation, and structured status governance.
  • Change Management Mindset: Strong soft skills with the ability to coach teams away from fragmented, localized tools and guide them toward a unified, automated way of working.
  • Communication & Facilitation: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; highly comfortable enforcing meeting discipline, defining clear agendas, and documenting actionable outcomes.
  • Autonomy: Highly proactive behavioral approach; comfortable operating within a dynamic framework to keep team execution synchronized and moving forward.

Nice to Have

  • Finance Industry Experience: Previous experience managing projects within Corporate Finance is highly valued.
  • PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) or equivalent formalized Agile/PM methodology training.
